Welcome to Absolute Tree Experts. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the tree care, removal, and stump grinding services we provide. By requesting an estimate, scheduling a service, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Please read them carefully before hiring us for your project in Lake Wylie, SC, and the surrounding York County area.
Validity: All written estimates and quotes are valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue.
Hidden Conditions: Estimates are based on visual inspections. If unforeseen conditions arise once work begins (e.g., hidden metal or concrete inside a tree trunk, undisclosed underground utilities, or excessive root systems during stump grinding), additional charges may apply. We will always communicate with you before proceeding with any work that alters the original quote.
Tree work is highly dependent on weather conditions. York County experiences thunderstorms, high winds, and periods of heavy rainfall that can make tree work unsafe or risk damage to your property. Absolute Tree Experts reserves the right to reschedule any project due to high winds, heavy rain, lightning, or saturated soil conditions. We will notify you as early as possible if a reschedule is necessary.
To ensure a safe and efficient project, the property owner agrees to the following:
Property Lines and Permissions: You are responsible for ensuring that all trees to be serviced or removed are legally yours, and that you have obtained any necessary neighbor permissions, HOA approvals, or local tree removal permits.
Worksite Access: You must provide clear access for our crews, trucks, cranes, and specialized equipment including our skid steer and chipper.
Site Preparation: Please remove all vehicles, patio furniture, potted plants, yard decorations, and pet waste from the designated work zone and drop areas prior to our arrival. Keep all pets and children inside for the duration of the job.
Underground Lines: Absolute Tree Experts is not responsible for damage to unmarked or undisclosed underground utilities, including but not limited to irrigation systems, invisible dog fences, septic fields, landscape lighting cables, or custom drainage pipes.
Heavy Equipment: While we take every precaution to protect your property, tree removal requires heavy machinery. We are not liable for cracking or damage to driveways, sidewalks, or standard landscaping resulting from the necessary weight of our trucks and equipment.
Unless explicitly stated in your written estimate, tree removal does not automatically include stump grinding or hauling away wood. If stump grinding is contracted, we will grind the stump to standard depth (usually 4-6 inches below grade). The resulting wood chips and dirt mound will be left on-site to backfill the hole unless debris removal is specifically included in your quote.
Payment is due in full upon completion of the agreed-upon services unless otherwise stated in writing.
We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.
We require at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your service. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee, particularly if crane rentals or specialized equipment have already been mobilized for your job.
Absolute Tree Experts reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted to our website with an updated Effective Date.
